About the Trust

The Endlesham Hall Trust was established in 1936 by a local church who originally built the Hall as a place of worship.

For over 80 years, the Hall has been a hive of activity which the Trust has continued to look after for the wider community. Everything from Art to Zumba has been hosted by a myriad of groups, families and organisations, fostering connection and belonging.

The Trust is now working hand in hand with local businesses, nonprofits, community groups and the local Council to develop a purpose-built centre on the original site that reflects the heart of its vision, better aligns with the community’s needs, and continues to benefit the people of our local community and beyond for generations to come.

Our vision:
Soil, soul and society

Endlesham Hall is a thriving community, ecologically, individually and collectively. We hope that the new space will give us all more room to think, question, challenge, connect and make a difference together in three ways.

Soil

We aim to cultivate green space where residents and visitors can feel rejuvenated and inspired, and where nature is nurtured and protected.

Soul

We want to provide a sanctuary of unconditional love and acceptance, reminding people of their unique identity and purpose, to restore spiritual, mental and emotional peace.

Society

We will provide a warm welcome and do everything we can to eradicate loneliness and social isolation, sharing ourselves, our skills, experience and time with one another.

Our mission:
Creating space to thrive

We're on a mission to nurture our environment, restore hope and build vital connections with one another so that together, we thrive.

The new Endlesham Hall project will enable us to better meet our community’s needs long into the future. The modern, purpose-built, sustainable design includes:

Community space

A versatile and accessible space with greatly improved facilities.

Affordable homes

For young people to flourish as they begin their working journeys.

Green outdoor space

A vibrant community garden offering sanctuary for residents, visitors and wildlife alike.

Our values

Relational

We acknowledge the intrinsic value of every individual and warmly welcome everyone to become a part of this journey and shape the future of our community together.

Compassionate

We’re compassionate and committed to nurturing potential, creating opportunity and making everything as accessible as possible so that together, we can thrive.

Responsible

We take responsibility for our actions and their consequences, being mindful of our impact on the environment and one another.

Honest

We are clear and open about our intentions and careful to communicate transparently to build trust.

Creative

We acknowledge that we don’t have all the answers, and we welcome the advice and experience of others in finding innovative solutions.

Our Christian roots

Our vision, mission and values are Christ-centred, informed by the life and person of Jesus. We believe that God is good, loves every created thing and wants to restore you, me, our relationships and the earth to the very best versions of ourselves.

We will not impose our beliefs on anyone. We recognise and celebrate the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to our community, respecting the beliefs and practices of other faiths.

Our hope is for the Hall to be an open, inclusive and safe space, welcoming people from all walks of life to explore the role of spirituality in their lives if they would like to.
