Meet our patrons

Like us, our patrons are deeply committed to the values of community and sustainability, making a positive difference in individual lives, the community at large, and the world we inhabit for generations to come. We’re grateful for their support as we seek to create a new space in the heart of Balham, affording local people the chance to grow together, build new skills, and even find a home.

Deepak Ravindran

I am the co-founder of Oddbox – an impact business that was setup to reduce food waste via wonky fruit and veg boxes.

Endlesham Hall occupies a special place in my heart as it is located on the same street where we used to live for 10 years. They also very generously offered support to our business in its infancy for which I am ever grateful.

As an entrepreneur who runs a mission driven enterprise supported by a community, I fully believe in the strength of communities and the value they hold in bringing people together, promoting inclusivity, integration and growth.

I feel that creating affordable homes for young people as part of the New Endlesham Hall project is a much needed solution in a city where housing is expensive and hard to come by.

Jimmy Garcia

My name is Jimmy and I run Jimmy Garcia Catering, a company offering creative catering services and pop-up restaurants across Europe and some of London's most iconic locations.

It all began in 2011 when I decided to turn my front room in Balham into a restaurant. That's when I first met Des and the team at Endlesham Hall, who lent me all the cutlery and crockery and even allowed me to make my wholesale soups in their kitchen.

Being a patron of Endlesham Hall means I can help make a difference in other people's lives as they did mine, offering a helping hand with no obligation when I needed it the most.

What excites me most about the vision for a new hall is the focus on providing young people with a platform to go on to greater things. To me, this is incredibly powerful and significant as it’s the next generation that will shape the future.
