Virtual tour

See the video below for a walkthrough of the whole building and scroll down for more details about each individual space.

The Front Hall

The front hall is our largest space, often used for sports and well-being activities. It has an oak sprung floor and is great for anything that needs a lot of space to move around in, like exercise classes. Our regulars include Little Kickers football training, as well as Zumba, Yoga and Drama classes. The hall has a bright and airy atmosphere, with lots of natural light, good acoustics and a small stage.

The Back Hall

The back hall is ideal for events with food as it leads through to the well-equipped kitchen. While the indoor space is slightly smaller than the front hall, the back hall leads out to the garden, which can be included in the hire, making it perfect for children's parties and indoor/outdoor activities.

The Garden

The garden area is a peaceful oasis for individuals and small groups wishing to enjoying a quiet space and can be hired out on its own or together with the back hall.

The Community Room

The community room is an ideal meeting space for small groups up to ten people, with comfortable seating and facilities for making teas and coffees.

Venue Hire FAQs

  • You can find a general idea of when the spaces might be available on this page. The best thing to do is give us a ring or fill out the form below and we can let you know our availability on the date or dates you’re interested in.

  • Our prices start from £35 per hour, along with a minimum deposit of £120. We’ll be more than happy to give you the deposit back if the space is the same as you found it, all the doors and windows are shut and you’ve stuck to our venue hire terms.

  • Once we’ve had a chat about who’s coming and what you’re using the space for, you’ll need to let us know if there are any drastic changes. If you need the space for a longer or shorter time you’ll also need to let us know.

  • The Hall is in a residential area, so we need to be respectful of our neighbours. If you’d like to use amplification or anything else that might be a little noisy, please let us know first and we’ll see if we can accommodate it.

  • Wifi is available throughout the building and included in the hire fees. If you’ll need to access the wifi, please ask for a code in advance of your event.

  • Due to health and safety and licensing laws, we can’t have any smoking on site. If you would like to include alcohol at your event, please bring this up when we discuss your requirements and we’ll see if we can accommodate it.

  • Give us a ring and we’ll have a chat about what it is and how long you need to leave it there.

  • That’s okay – to get your deposit back, please make sure to let us know 14 days before your booking date.

  • Most people usually pick one area to hire, but if you’d like to hire more than one, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate. Whichever space you use, you will need to stick to that space as there may be other people using other parts of the building.

  • As a building open to the public, we follow the latest Government COVID-19 guidelines and ask that all building users and visitors do the same. Our regular hall hirers are asked to sign a COVID-19 user agreement and to provide us with their own risk assessment.
